Hi, Iâm Mark and always have been a fan of La-z-boy recliners and chairs. I got a recliner for my mom from the Mission Valley store and my mom is very happy with the recliner.
Thanks

I used to have Lazy Boy recliners in California and they were great. 10 years ago they would fix your chairs for free for the 5 year warranty on mechanical parts. Then after warranty they would charge a $50.00 fee for the repair on the lifetime mechanical parts. Today I called about my chair that is less than 2 years old and it costs $124.00 just to have them look at it and it takes a month and half for them to look at it and then you have to pay shipping for parts. I did not get the 10 years of service out of the chair, and no, I donât have kids playing on it, I am 72 years old and the only one to sit on it.
Not worth the money!!

12-14 weeks delivery lost
12-14 weeks delivery of a $3000 order delayed with no tracking information or correspondence. When we placed our order July 29,2020 we were told 12-14 weeks; we should have left and went down the street to American furniture Warehouse. Actually we did buy a second recliner from AFW and it was delivered in three days! We have a $1785.00 deposit tied up in this order. Five calls to showroom now stating our order will be split into three different shipments maybe by November. After calling and being placed on a 55 minute hold to corporate with three different customer service representatives who canât find my order, I am still waiting on someone to respond. I purposely wanted to buy from an American company not Chinese import but now understand why we have lost all of our American furniture companies! Amazon can track a$3 order and send multiple confirmations but you canât even find a$3000 order?

I have a Lazy Boy loveseat for 15 yrs. and love it. In May of 2019 I purchased a couch and loveseat both with two reclining sections. The couch we use often as it faces the tv but the loveseat was used about (3) times since we have it. We heard a noise one night and traced it to the loveseat where a piece broke off that holds the spring to operate one of the recliners. I am told the warranty is for one year. I now see that the furniture is made in China. Both the couch and recliner do not seem as well made as our loveseat that weâve had for 15 years. I would not recommend a Lazy Boy product and I am really disappointed to experience this problem.
Over the years I have purchased many Lazyboy chairs, rockers and couches. Over the past week I had a problem with my leather couch. Something broke on the right side of the recliner. I tried to call the store on 135th and Metcalf in Overland Park, KS on several occasions to seek a recommendation on a service provider. I finally got someone to answer. I was told to call a number that is their service repair company. I spent over two hours trying to get in touch with this company and no one every picked up. I called back to the store and left a message about this experience. No one ever called me back. I recently visited the store and was considering a new recliner. The selection was not good with quality items. Much cheaper furnature than in the past with much higher prices. With their terrible customer service and cheaper made furnature I will unlikely every buy any more Lazyboy items.
I bought a La-Z-Boy recliner and got the insurance. I did not purchase insurance on the memory foam, at the advice of the sales rep, because I was told memory foam lasts forever.
What I did not anticipate was the memory foam sliding out of place on one of the reclining seats. Without that insurance I am out of luck Personally I think itâs a manufacturing defect.
My couch looks terrible now, after only 4 years, and the seat which has the displaced memory foam is really uncomfortable. Basically my 3 seat couch is now a love seat.
When my recliner arrived after 4 1/2 months, I noticed the seams of the seat were uneven. Then I noticed the seams of the arms were also uneven, there were 2 gaps on one side, but not the other and that the back of the chair also had a gap where one side where one side was almost 3/4 inch wider than the other side. They send someone out to look at it, to their credit. This chair wouldnât even sell in a discount store. Customer service at first offered me $150 off. She downplayed the issues that were in the representativeâs report. I did not accept that offer. They did offer replacement after I spoke to someone higher up. But then that person said that there was no guarantee things wouldnât be wrong with the replacement!! I had this model of recliner before, when La-Z- Boy was good. I will keep my fingers crossed that the replacement is ok, but obviously they have little to no quality control. I say look elsewhere for furniture.
Just wanted to say i have had my sofa for about six months and i cannot stand the odor of it. I feel like the odor is from chemicals. I also feel very uncomfortable having it in my home. I will be replacing it soon. Sorry I spent over 2 thousand dollars on the sofa and love seat.
